I also remember a two part TV movie that came out a few years ago about Noah, about half way through the fist night, it was so ridiculous and made Noah out to be a carousing drunk and his wife a screaming shrew. It was so far off from the actual Bible we found it offensive. That's really kind of sad because there are people who know little to nothing about the real Bible and then they see garbage like that and believe it's the real story.
I think it does more damage than good.
In all fairness, we know very little to the true account of the story of Noah and the ark. The stories we tell children in Sunday school and remember as kids ourselves are often exxagerated or filled with missing details that the book of genesis does not describe. In fact the bible a) does not even mention noahs wife by name let alone any of her personality traits. Therefore your defense to who Noah's wife was or wasn't hold as much ground as another persons artististic freedoms in a made for tv movie.
And b) The bible does speak of Noah having wine vineyards in the days following the great flood and how Noah spent his days partaking in his own spirits. You can find further reading on this subject in the Old Testament of every bible, including the King James version.
many people would love this movie including me. It really a pretty good movie and the way you have writtent is really amazing. I have seen this movies on cinema box. You too can follow the same.
